The Leathos Hole Puncher is designed to create clean, precise holes with minimal effort.
Before use, please read this guide carefully to ensure the best performance and longest tool life.

All Included Parts

1. Remove the Head

If it's difficult to loosen, use a cloth or a pair of pliers for extra grip. From the factory, the head may be tightened more than usual.

2. Insert the Cutter

If the cutter is difficult to remove from the head, use a cloth or a pair of pliers for extra grip. It may fit tightly from the factory.

3. Tighten the Head

Tighten it by hand only. Hand-tight is enough—do not overtighten with pliers or other tools.

4. Sharpen if Needed

For the cleanest holes, sharpen the cutter before first use or whenever you're punching thicker materials. A sharp cutter requires less force and produces cleaner, more precise holes.

5. How to Sharpen

Insert the Punch Sharpener into the cutter from the inside. Rotate the sharpener clockwise while applying light pressure. A few turns are usually enough to restore a sharp cutting edge.

6. Choosing the Right Cutter

Each cutter size is designed for a different hole diameter.

Simply install the cutter that matches the hole size you need before starting your project. Make sure the cutter is fully seated and the head is hand-tightened before use.

7. Punching Leather

Place the leather on a suitable cutting surface, such as a cutting mat.

Hold the punch perpendicular to the leather and apply steady downward pressure.
For thicker materials, you may need to repeat the punch a second time to cut all the way through.
